Starting in September at the Riverside Gallery in Richmond is a retrospective look at cartoon and comic strip works by Phillip Marsden from the last five years, including Clam & Elgar, Aesop’s Fables, the collaborative Blackout and the occasional True Stories series, chronicling curious instances from the artist’s daily life, presented here in its entirety for the first time.

houblon_detailAlso of interest is his book ‘Noteworthy‘ which examines the lives of the noteworthy individuals on the backs of British banknotes. Get it quick though, it is limited to 100 copies.
