mark_hearld_collage1Mark Hearld belongs to the English tradition of illustration- his work is inspired by Bawden and Ravilious, and he works with traditional print, watercolour, collage and cut paper techniques. He has designed some fabric for st.judes (who also have a gallery of his prints for sale)

He takes a lot of his inspiration from animals, as can be seen by the amount of taxidermy in his house ( featured in a World of Interiors article )
