House of Fairy Tales

Posted in Children's by The Department of Illustration on May 31, 2009

hofthave updated their site to include some nice flash based interactive games. The site is less ‘dark’ than before but still has a Grimm’s Fairy/Eastern european vibe. Lovely stuff. Can’t wait to visit their event at Port Eliot this year. Set up by Gavin Turk and Deborah Curtis, “The House of Fairy Tales uses the vast narrative scope of fairy tales to provide creative, innovative and transformative learning experiences for young people of all ages and their families.” They have recently had a residency at the Tate Britain. They are looking for people to be involved in their ‘Festival of the Creative Act’ in 2010. check here for details
