The Department of Illustration

workshop for 16-19 year olds

Posted in Collaborations by The Department of Illustration on June 24, 2009

BBC 21CC London and Salford have teamed up with The Imperial War Museum to offer budding illustrators/animators/designers an amazing opportunity to work with industry professionals on a collaborative project on 3-7 August. Participants will work with archival sound clips from World War II, to create animations and visuals that will contribute to a final film. Practising industry experts will be on hand to guide you through the creative process, and offer and insight into their working world.

If you are aged between 16 and 19, and have a real passion for illustration and animation then we’d like to hear from you. We will be running this course simultaneously at our two centres in London, and in Salford, Greater Manchester, so please let us know which 21CC you’d like to be involved with. For more information please contact information21cc@bbc.co.uk. This workshop is free of charge.
